Fishing Wisdom: Size Matters

By Bob Randall on Sunday, January 7th, 2018 in Fishing Wisdom, No Comments

The one thing that most of us agreed upon yesterday, 1/6/2018, was that size matters. Go small. Even a large fish will take a tiny insect, lots of them. I had previously believed that a size 20 fly was the smallest I could tie or attempt to attach to a tippet on a regular basis. Now after tying size 22 flies for this trip without any problem, I’m looking forward to pushing my minimum size limit and testing them out.
